Project 2017

(Taken from suusjesworld.com)

I cannot believe we are well into Day 10 of 2017 and so far I've managed 7 days of healthy eating, and a 2.4 mile run...  How hard is it to create good habits?!  I'm not beating myself up though, instead, I'll look at the positives that I've managed to do all of this in just 10 days.

I really do love thinking about New year resolutions and every year I tend to make the same promises to myself and by the end of January, well, they are long forgotten.  This year, I've taken my time with it.  10 days into the new year and I'm ready to start attempting to make a few changes.  I can't promise all of these things will happen, but I will give it my best shot.

1.  Start a blog of my life.  I want a safe place to store all my daily challenges, life stories, recipes, healthy days, and much, much more.

2.  Positivity.  This year has been full of ups and downs, and thinking back, I always appear to embrace negativity, my cup is generally half empty, nothing goes "my way" and the tough things in life are impossible.  Well, I am going to change!  I need to, as I think this will lead on to point number three.

3.  Be happy.  Holidays, chocolate, running, friends and family.  Oh, and the odd glass of wine.  Thats a very short list of things that will definitely make me a happier person.  I think being a more positive person and looking on the brighter side of life will help these things to happen.  At the moment, my life consists of those days where you are too tired to go out with friends, you have no energy to go for a run, and no money to book a holiday.  What I'm starting to learn is that it's up to no one else but myself to change these, and that's what this year is going to be all about.

My aim is to make this a happy year,  smile more and enjoy times with family and friends.
Life is short so you have to live it for this moment.
